To have eternal life is one thing. To know you have it is another.
Here’s the good news. God wants you to know. In fact, he gave us an entire book of the Bible with assurance of salvation in view. “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 Jn 5:13).
How do we get there? We rest in all God is for us in Christ by believing his Son, obeying his commands, and loving his people. They are not tests we pass. They are means of grace through which God strengthens our trust in Jesus. We find assurance in what Jesus has done for us, not what we do for him.
Join students and parents at our regional youth retreat this summer to strengthen your confidence in our blessed assurance.
God wants you to know.
